Satire Brought to Life

Late October saw the release of a video from The Future Children Project. After an appeal to re-elect President Obama more than a dozen children between the ages of five and fifteen sing about the horrors of a Romney presidency. They are the children of the future, singing about the future, in the present. That aspect does not seem entirely well thought out and yet is the least of the problems with this piece.

Debt, Destiny and America’s Choice

In less than one week Americans will head to the polls to elect the next leader of the free world. While some claim that there is not much difference between the major parties and the visions they present for our future, the difference could not be starker. Lost in the whirlwind of ads about side issues and memes including Big Bird, binders and bayonets the critical issue is whether Americans want to emulate the Greek model or return to the tried and true American model.

Welcome to BlotterNotes.com

I have wanted to start this website for a long time. As an avid reader of many web sites and blogs I have benefited greatly and had an opportunity to learn far more in both breadth and depth than I would ever have by relying solely on traditional media. It is a wonderful thing to come across a site, sometimes by accident, with insightful writing and unique content. I have wanted to be part of that conversation for a long time and yet I have waited until now.
